Our Practice
Eric M. White, OD Dr. Eric White, OD has been in private practice since 1985. Dr. White is a consultant to many advisory boards and numerous professional optometric organizations. He is a clinical investigator for several contact lens companies and has participated in over 100 clinical studies. He was named the AOA’s National Young O.D. of the Year. He has published several articles on contact lenses and has lectured extensively in the U.S. Dr. White was one of the lead optometrists in the relief effort during and after the 2007 fires in the San Diego area and was recognized in numerous publications for his generous humanitarianism. Our office relocated to its present location in 2001. Reception Area Upon your arrival to our office, you will be greeted by Helen. Helen will be more than happy to answer any questions you have about your insurance coverage and the benefits that are available to you. Our Dispensary Our dispensing area has a large selection of quality, fashionable frames to select from that meet your every need. More Frames Choose from a wide variety of frames from several different manufactures at Dr. White’s office. Sharon, Study Coordinator and Office ManagerSharon has been with the office over 30 years. She runs all our contact lens and medication studies. She knows anything and everything about the office and optical industry. In her spare time she loves working in the yard. Sue, Optometric TechnicianSue has been with the office over 20 years. Sue is an expert in any position in the office. She works both in back and up front and can answer a wide range of questions from contacts to optical questions. In her spare time Sue enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. Tonya, Optometric AssistantTonya has been working with the office for over 6 years. She started in high school and is working her way through college. She wants to work in a Forensic lab and is currently interning with the Police Crime Lab—she is very busy. Tonya is our go-to person. She is willing and able to jump in where ever she is needed. In her spare time, what little of it she has, she enjoys riding her motorcycle. Lorie, Optometric TechnicianLorie has been here 1 year and is totally feeing right at home. She will help you with pre-testing along with your frame selection and frame adjustment. She is Dr. White's wife, so she has been a part of the behind the scenes for years. Now with the boys older she loves working part time in the office and traveling with Dr. White with his meetings and lectures |
